Sentence Fragments: Elements of Style, Postcolonial Edition

Alan Wright

In brief: According to Wright, postcolonialism "provides an opportunity for inventing political, critical, textual practice that encourages a performative, pedagogical, and methodological innovation." Wright's purpose in the essay is to explore what might be the "basic terms of a primer in postcolonial poetics" and to assemble useful material for "devising a glossary of [postcolonial poetics'] rhetorical figures."
